Thanasis Antetokounmpo doesn’t seem to have a girlfriend. The older brother of Giannis Antetokounmpo seems to be enjoying living his single life.
The Bucks re-signed Thanasis Antetokounmpo for his fifth season last year in July. Thanasis was drafted by the Knicks in 2014 and joined his younger brother, Giannis, at Bucks in 2019.
In his past four seasons, Thanasis has averaged 8.4 minutes per game, 2.7 points and 1.8 rebounds. Many believe he should be thankful for his career with the Bucks because of his younger brother.
Recently, Thanasis saw action against the Boston Celtics, which ended in a huge statement win for the Bucks with a 135-102. This was Thanasis’ only 15th appearance for the season and second since January.
Thanasis Antetokounmpo Girlfriend: Is He Dating?
The NBA player Thanasis Antetokounmpo doesn’t have a girlfriend and seems single. Previously, Thanasis hasn’t shared any posts on his Instagram that could hint about his romantic life.
Despite being in the public eye for almost a decade, Thanasis hasn’t talked much about his relationship status on public platforms. He is older than Giannis by two years, who announced his engagement to Mariah Riddlesprigger in September last year.
Thanasis’ Instagram handle is filled with clips from his podcast “Thanalysis.” The podcast began in February 2023 and focused on bringing fun, motivational, educational, and honest conversation to the NBA podcast space.
Alongside sharing clips from his podcast, Thanasis also shares snaps from him playing in the Bucks gear. He also doesn’t forget to share several family snaps.
In October, Thanasis and his four athletic brothers opened a store named Antetokounbros. The four well-known Antetokounmpo brothers also have established AntetokounBros Academy.
They established the academy to help boys and girls (aged 10-17) and aspiring coaches (aged 18-25) realize their sporting potential. The academy was established by the four brothers in Athens, the place where they grew up.
Last year, Thanasis shared the fact that he and his three younger brothers had invested in the TGL team, Los Angeles Golf Club. The four brothers seem to love golf and look ready to become team owners of the league set to begin in 2025.
So, for now, Thanasis seems to be focused on everything other than his dating life. He has his career as an NBA player and seems to pair it with various businesses and charities.
Thanasis Relationship With Younger Brother Giannis
Many won’t disagree that Giannis is easily the most talented and successful among the five Antetokounmpo brothers. A two-time NBA MVP recipient, Giannis will retire as one of the greatest to have taken to the court.
NBA fans do joke that Thanasis is on the Bucks’ team solely because he is Giannis’ brother. Despite, the scrutiny from the public, it doesn’t look like this has affected the bond between the two siblings.
Last year, in his podcast, Thanasis gave a quick shoutout to his younger brother for once again making it to the NBA All-Star team. 2023 was the seventh year in a row that Giannis made it to the All-Star team.
Giannis signed a $186 million three-year contract with the Bucks in October 2023. In an interview, the Greek Freak said his brother Thanasis played an instrumental role in helping him in his decision.
Giannis had believed that signing the extension didn’t make sense to him, but Thanasis told him that it made the perfect sense. The NBA superstar said he trusted his brother’s judgment to death.
Giannis said, “He knows me as a brother, a lot of people know me just as a basketball player.”
