The Charitable Hearts of Carson Wentz And His Wife Madison Oberg: Raising Three Daughters Together

This article was last updated by on

Carson Wentz and Madison Oberg first connected over their shared passion for activism, forming a strong bond that led them to marriage in 2018. Since then, the couple has welcomed three daughters into their lives: Hadley Jayne, Hudson Rose, and Hayes Emersyn.

Carson Wentz, the quarterback for the Kansas City Chiefs, often makes headlines for his impressive performances in the NFL.

His football journey began at North Dakota State, where he played as a starter for the Bison, helping lead them to two consecutive NCAA FCS national championships.

Wentz’s professional career took off when the Eagles selected him as the second overall pick in the 2016 NFL Draft, making him the highest-drafted FCS player in history. His breakout season came in 2017 when he led the Eagles to an impressive 11–2 record.

Although a season-ending injury sidelined him, the Eagles secured the top conference seed and went on to win their first Super Bowl in franchise history, with a victory in Super Bowl LII.

With eight years in the NFL and numerous accomplishments, Wentz has become a celebrated figure, attracting growing fan interest. Fans are particularly curious about his wife, Madison Oberg, who is frequently seen supporting him from the stands.

Madison Oberg & Carson Wentz’s Shared Passion For Activism

Though Madison Oberg keeps a low profile, her commitment to activism shines through.

She and her husband, Carson Wentz, co-founded the AO1 Foundation with a mission to “uplift individuals and communities around the world by demonstrating God’s love for His people.

A native of Kentucky, Oberg has served with the Mobilization Hospitality Team in Haiti, reflecting her dedication to helping others.

Wentz also traveled to Haiti on a mission trip in May 2017, an experience linked to Oberg’s previous work there.

Many speculate that this trip may have been the moment the two met and began their relationship.

Their relationship became public in November 2017 when Wentz shared a Thanksgiving photo with Oberg on Instagram.

Following the Eagles’ historic Super Bowl LII win, Wentz proposed to Oberg just two days later, capturing the hearts of fans with their engagement story.

In a memorable photo, Wentz is seen kneeling in front of Oberg, surrounded by flower petals and candles on a rooftop, gazing into her eyes.

Other photos show Oberg smiling as she displays her engagement ring and the couple sharing an embrace, marking a special moment in their journey together.

The caption wrote,

She said YES! And now Maddie and I both got us a ring 💍😎 can’t wait to marry my best friend! God is doing some amazing things and I can’t thank him enough!

Before their wedding in July 2018, the couple revealed matching forearm tattoos featuring the word “agape” in lowercase script, symbolizing unconditional love.

The design includes a short braided rope on either side, with the letter “p” elongated to resemble a cross—a nod to their faith.

On July 15, 2018, Carson and Madison exchanged vows at The Lake House Inn, a venue overlooking Lake Nockamixon near Perkasie, Pennsylvania.

Wentz planned the wedding date to coincide with the days leading up to the Eagles’ training camp, which began on July 25.

Carson and Madison Are Parents to Three Daughters

After six years of marriage, Carson and Madison are the proud parents of three daughters. Their first child, Hadley Jayne, was born on April 27, 2020, followed by Hudson Rose on November 16, 2021.

Most recently, they welcomed their third daughter, Hayes Emersyn, on November 10, 2023. The couple has shared how their daughters have brought them new responsibilities and countless joys.

Wentz often expresses admiration for Oberg, praising her for her remarkable ability to balance his demanding football career with family life.

He describes her as the “engine” that keeps their family running smoothly.

The family is frequently seen spending time together, taking their daughters on new adventures and creating lasting memories in every place they visit.
