Colin Cowherd, an American sports media personality, has been married twice: first to Kimberly Vadala and currently to his second wife, Ann Cowherd.
Cowherd, born on January 6, 1964, in Aberdeen, Washington, began his broadcasting career as the play-by-play announcer for the San Diego Padres Triple-A affiliate, the Las Vegas Stars.
He gained recognition as the sports director at KVBC in Las Vegas, where he won Nevada’s Sportscaster of the Year award five times.
From 1993 to 1995, he worked as a weekend sports anchor for WTVT in Tampa, Florida, before moving to Portland, Oregon, where he became a sports anchor for KGW-TV.
In 2003, he joined ESPN and took over the late-morning slot on ESPN Radio with his show, “The Herd,” which quickly became popular nationwide.
During this time, he also co-hosted the TV show “SportsNation” and introduced “Colin’s New Football Show.”
Cowherd became known for his bold opinions and focus on the NFL, NBA, and college football, which made him both influential and controversial.
However, some of his remarks, such as comments about Dominican baseball players and the late Sean Taylor, sparked backlash and criticism. This eventually led to his departure from ESPN in 2015.
Later, in 2015, he joined Fox Sports, where “The Herd” was relaunched on Fox Sports Radio and Fox Sports 1. At Fox, he also co-hosted “Speak for Yourself” and contributed to “Fox NFL Kickoff.”
In 2018, he partnered with iHeartRadio to launch “The Herd Podcast Network” and later created “The Volume,” a podcast platform featuring his show and other prominent voices in sports.
Today, Cowherd remains one of the leading figures in sports media.

Going through the photos of our trip to Italy and this is my fave. Not a care in the world for a week. Exhausted at times, amazed at others. Mostly though, grateful for a life that includes Ann. pic.twitter.com/KJLeamlflK
