The Kings are the NBA Summer League Champions

NBA Summer League wrapped up in a very stunning fashion with the Sacramento Kings crowned as the Champions.

The Kings defeated the Boston Celtics team to name the 2021 Las Vegas Summer League Championship under their belt on Tuesday.

In the process the Kings made history, becoming the first team to win multiple Summer League defeating the Celtics 100-67.

They forced 28 turnovers and also had 18 steals to make a comeback in the game after the Celtics’ strong start early in the game.

The Celtics made a 12-2 run to start the game but the Kings defense helped them make a comeback, erasing their early deficit and ultimately, winning the game.

In addition, the Kings’ defense, their offensive, led by Louis King followed by Jahmi’us Ramsey also played a vital role in taking the win.

The Kings Louis received the MVP for the effort he put all throughout the six games.

The Celtics take the early lead.

Both the teams entered the court undefeated and also looked to take the win becoming undefeated champs.

Aron Nesmith started the first quarter for Boston Celtics, dropping a three-pointer. Carson Edwards added a bucket, knocking down a mid-range jumper on the next possession.

Bruno Fernando then came up with a layup as the Kings had only a point on the board.

The Celtics continued to dominate the Kings as Nesmith added another three-pointer. Subsequently, the Celtics added another bucket and took 10 point lead.

They made a 12-2 run against the Kings as the Kings’ coach Bobby Jackson took a timeout.

Subsequently, the Kings finally scored points on the board after Louis King dropped a jumper.

But Juhann Bergarin answered right back, dropping a layup on the other end.

Louis King then came up with a three-pointer halfway into the quarter as the Kings still trailing the Celtics.

Jahmi’us Ramsey added a bucket, making a layup on the next possession.

Edwards answered dropping a hook shot and Louis came up with a jumper on the other side.

The kings cut their double-point deficit to four points with 4:06 remaining in the first quarter.

Louis knocked down a three-pointer, cutting the lead to a point. Davion Mitchell added a three-pointer and the Kings took their first lead of the night.

However, Edwards knocked down a three-pointer, taking the lead right back.

Mitchell answered knocking down a three-pointer and Ramsey added a layup on the next possession.

Eventually, the quarter ended 24-20 with the Kings taking the lead.

The Kings dominate in the second quarter.

Emanuel Terry opened the second quarter, dropping a dunk off his own rebound.

Nesmith answered back with a jump shot on the other side. Begarin blocked DJ Steward and Sam Hauser made a layup in transition.

They were 30-25 with the kings still in the lead with 7:14 remaining in the quarter.

Subsequently, the Kings Matt Coleman II knocked down a three-pointer and Hauser came up with a three-pointer on the other side.

Coleman answered back with another bucket from behind the arc. Nesmith lost the ball and Ramsey came up with a layup on the other end.

Subsequently, Edwards came up with a layup as the Celtics cut the Kings’ lead to  7-point with under three minutes left to play before the half.

Mitchell made off the glass jumper the other end. Begarin then knocked down a dunk on the other end.

They were 42-34 with 18.6 remaining in the second quarter as Ramsey drove to the rim and dropped a layup.

Eventually the quarter ended 44-36 with the Kings taking the lead into the half.

The Celtics trailed the Kings in the third quarter.

Louis King opened the third quarter, knocking down a three-pointer. He also added a layup on the next possession.

Payton Pritchard then answered back, dropping a layup on the other end.

Meanwhile, Ramsey answered back, drawing a foul along with a bucket. He also came up with a layup on the next Kings possession.

They were 53-40 with the Celtics trailing the Kings by 13 points with under five minutes left to play. 

Subsequently Robert Woodard II drove straight to the rim and knocked down a dunk.

The Celtics lost the ball and Ramsey dropped a bucket in transition.

Louis came up with a steal and a layup in transition along with a foul as the Kings take 21 point lead with about two minutes left in the quarter.

Edward knocked down a long three-pointer. Subsequently, the Kings came up with another turnover leading to another bucket as Ramsey dropped a layup.

Ade Murkey dropped a three pointer on Ramsey’s pass. Louis came up with a long jumper at the final second, ending the third quarter 68-49.

The kings dominating win in the fourth quarter.

Murkey opened the fourth quarter with a layup for the Kings. He came up with a fadeaway jumper on the next possession. 

Nesmith finally answered back with a layup. Subsequently, Steward dropped a layup on the other end and Coleman added another layup and a three-pointer eventually leading to a 12-3 run with about five minutes left in the quarter.

Subsequently, Mukey knocked down a three-pointer and the Kings eventually took 30-point lead.

Aric Holmann knocked down a three-pointer for the Bucks, breaking the Kings 5-0 run.

Marcus Graves soon answered back, knocking down a long three-pointer on the other end.

Eventually the Kings dominated the Celtics to take 100-67 win for the 2021 Summer League Championship.

Louis King led the Kings with 21 points and also made 4 of his 8 three-point. He continued his brilliant performance in the final match of the League as a result he became Summer League Championship MVP.

While Jahmi’us Ramsey added 16 points for the win and played brilliantly in  both offensive and defensive side.

Meanwhile Matt Coleman III had 14 points all coming off the bench.

On the other hand, Carsen Edwards became the leading scorer for Celtics with 15 points.

While Aaron Nesmith added 12 points and six rebounds.
