He joined the program in 2022 as an assistant coach at Elon University and worked closely with head coach Billy Taylor to shape the team.

Before Elon, he coached at several Division I programs, including Georgia, Virginia Tech, Coastal Carolina, and USC Upstate.

Beyond coaching, he served as Director of Scouting for Elon University’s basketball program in 2024-2025.

Tragically, Palmore passed away suddenly on June 4, 2025, at the age of 54. The cause of his death has not been publicly disclosed.

Stacey Palmore Is Survived By His Son, Jaden Alexander Palmore!

According to his Facebook relationship status, he is listed as single, which suggests that he may have remained unmarried.

Either he was single or extremely private about his personal life, especially regarding his wife.

While details about Stacey Palmore‘s wife remain undisclosed, his son, Jaden Palmore, has made a name for himself in basketball.

Jaden Alexander Palmore, 19, played as a senior at Greensboro Day School during the 2024-2025 season.

Jaden has inherited his late father’s passion for basketball and has built a reputation for his leadership, basketball IQ, and skill in directing offensive plays.

While Stacey Palmore was a highly respected coach with over 30 years of experience shaping top-tier athletes, Jaden is carving his path as a standout point guard.
