Thomas Rohler: Early Life, Education, and Parents
Thomas Rohler, an outstanding javelin thrower, was born on 30th September 1991 in the beautiful town of Germany named Jena.
However, not much has been found about his parents. But as per various sources, Rohler’s mother was a gymnast, and his love for track and field came from her. He has always been curious and athletic as a kid.
Also, when Thomas was eight or nine years old, he loved throwing stones on the shores, which made him realize his love for Javelin later.

Talking about his education, Thomas went to Johann Christoph Friedrich GutsMuths Sports High School, but he couldn’t do well in school for the first year, which earned him a warning.
Rohler worked hours to improve his manners and even got a second chance. And his hard work paid off in 2010 when he was listed on the national team Germany.
After completing his primary education, Thomas enrolled in Friedrich Schiller University, where he studied economics and sports science for his bachelor’s degree.

One of his first big titles came after defeating Tino Haber in the German Athletics Championship in 2012.

In 2013, Thomas entered the third place and earned a bronze medal at the European Athletics U23 Championship.

The same year at the European Championship, Thomas won gold with 89.47 meters held in Germany.
Not surprisingly, he continued with his champion streak and, at the 2018 IAAF Continental Cup, won gold with a throw of 87.07 meters.
But unfortunately, Rohler couldn’t qualify for World Athletics Championship, and he even had to take his name back from Tokyo Olympics 2020 due to injury just two months before the Olympics.
