Tim and Cindy Dungey are the parents of American football player Eric Dungey, who last played for the DC Defenders of the XFL.
Eric Jay Paul Dungey was born on June 12, 1996, in Tualatin, Oregon,U.S., and attended Lakeridge High School.
Dungey successfully started his college football career in 2015 at Syracuse University but unfortunately suffered a concussion and had to miss four games.
Despite the injury, he still managed to impress with his passing ability, throwing for 1,298 yards and 11 touchdowns in just eight games.
Dungey had a solid start to his sophomore season in 2016, completing 230 of 355 passes for 2679 yards with 15 touchdowns in nine games.
However, in the season, he suffered a head injury during the game and had to leave the game for a short time.
Despite the injury, Dungey’s performance in those nine games earned him All-ACC Honorable Mention recognition.
Dungey is widely regarded as one of the best quarterbacks in the program’s history, and his toughness and competitiveness earned him the admiration of Orange fans and players alike.
After going undrafted in the 2019 NFL Draft, Dungey signed as a free agent with the New York Giants but was released before the start of the season.
