The community is mourning the tragic death of Micah Lefave, a young athlete from Timpanogos High School whose life was defined by kindness, passion, and a deep care for others.

Micah’s passing has left a void among family, friends, and teammates who admired his character both on and off the field.

Micah’s friends describe him as someone who carried light and optimism everywhere he went.

Annie Ward shared a heartfelt tribute, expressing gratitude for the time they spent together and the lessons Micah unknowingly left behind.

I’ll miss the memories and the good times we shared, but I’ll never forget your kindness, passion, optimism, empathy, and the way you cared so deeply for everyone around you,” Ward wrote.

She promised to honor Micah by striving to live life with the same positivity and drive that he embodied.

Micah’s talent and dedication shone on the lacrosse field, where he represented Timpanogos High School with pride.

Standing 6 feet tall, he was a valued member of the team’s Class of 2024.

Throughout his career, he earned 15 points, scoring 9 goals and making 6 assists, while also demonstrating grit and defensive strength with 36 ground balls and 10 caused turnovers.

His stats only begin to reflect the effort and spirit he brought to every game.

Micah’s death is a painful loss, but his impact continues to inspire those who knew him.
