She began her wrestling career in 2000 and ended it in September 2011, citing dissatisfaction with the company.

Gail Intentionally Eliminated Herself From A Raw Battle Royal!

Gail Kim‘s self-elimination occurred on August 1, 2011, during a WWE RAW episode. It was a Battle Royal match to determine the number one contender for the Divas Championship.

She was frustrated with WWE’s treatment of women wrestlers. Therefore, she went off-script and eliminated herself within seconds of the match starting.

This bold move was her way of protesting the lack of respect and opportunities for women in WWE at that time.

After her self-elimination, Gail Kim continued to make a significant impact in professional wrestling.

Later that year, she returned to TNA (now Impact Wrestling) and became a cornerstone of their Knockouts Division.

In 2016, she became a seven-time Knockouts Champion and earned induction into the TNA Hall of Fame.
