He started as an American football quarterback and coach until his life led him to become a college football analyst for ESPN.

Born on January 3, 1974, Tom Luginbill has always possessed a strong love for football. 

He started at quarterback for three different institutions throughout his four-year tenure.

From a national championship to a one-win season, he experienced different degrees of success.

He was a football player for Palomar College (Juco) and then later transferred to Georgia Tech.

Furthermore, Luginbill joined the Arena Football League in 1996, playing for the Texas Terror and the Florida Bobcats.

In 1996 and 1997, Luginbill worked as a player personnel/coaching assistant alongside his father for the Amsterdam Admirals.

Tom and his wife live with their family in Charlotte, North Carolina.

She studied at the Athens State University from 1998 to 1999.

Meet Their Kids Keaton And Quaid 

The couple has two children together, a son and a daughter. Their son Quaid, the elder child of the household, was born on November 28, 2005. 

He is pursuing a football career and appears to be doing well.

He has been playing football since his early years at Weddington Middle School. In his sixth grade, Quaid played Center and Long Snapper roles. 

Late in 7th grade, Quaid transferred to Defensive End (DE) and Outside Linebacker. 

Quaid has recently bagged the 4A State Championship with his high school football team. 

Talking about their daughter, Keaton was born on November 26, 2007. Young Keaton seems uninvolved in any sports activities.

However, she loves the glamorous lifestyle, and her Instagram gives off a very posh vibe. 

Meet His Father Al Luginbill

Tom’s father is John Alan Luginbill, a football coach. He was born on November 13, 1946.

Luginbill began his college coaching career as an assistant at Pasadena City College.

There, he worked for two tenures, from 1968 to 1971 and then again from 1974 to 1976.

Later, Luginbill was named head coach in 1977 and led PCC to a Jr. Rose Bowl and National Championship.

He began his collegiate career with the Arizona State Sun Devils. He was an assistant coach at ASU for two years.

Additionally, he returned to Arizona State after one year at the University of Wyoming.

In 2003, Luginbill was the head coach and general manager of the Arena Football League’s Detroit Fury.

Furthermore, he is married to Susan, and they have twins, Tom and Kerry.
