Some social media users have speculated that Kristin Chenoweth has undergone procedures such as rhinoplasty and cheek implants.
Kristin Chenoweth always wanted to play basketball. It never happened, but she still made it to the NBA Finals.
The award-winning actress, singer, Oklahoma native, Oklahoma Hall of Fame inductee, and unabashed Thunder fan sang “The Star-Spangled Banner” before Game 7 of the title series between the Thunder and the Indiana Pacers on Sunday, June 22, 2025.
Chenoweth’s performance aired live on ABC shortly before tipoff of the season’s final game.
During the interview with the Associated Press after her soundcheck at the arena, she said,
“Let me just say, if they had anxiety medication for Thunder fans, I’d be taking it,” “I never miss a game unless I’m on stage,” “I was a cheerleader in high school in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, and I loved football, but my favorite was basketball. I like how much of a team player you’ve got to be. … And this is my team.”

She has sung the anthem at a few Thunder games in the past, sometimes alone and at least once with children from her Chenoweth Broadway Bootcamp.
Chenoweth won a Tony Award in 1999 for Best Featured Actress in a Musical for her role in “You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown.”
She received two Tony nominations for Best Leading Actress in a Musical, one in 2004 for playing Glinda in “Wicked,” she lost to co-star Idina Menzel, and the other in 2015 for playing 1930s Hollywood diva Lily Garland in “On the Twentieth Century.”
Kristin has also won an Emmy for Best Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series for her work on ABC’s “Pushing Daisies.” She returns to Broadway this fall, playing Jackie Siegel in “The Queen of Versailles.”
Social Media Outlets And Surgeons Suggested That Kristin Chenoweth Has Gone Through Several Surgeries
Although Kristin Chenoweth has denied going through surgeries in the interviews, some social media users and surgeons speculated that she has had various surgeries.
A plastic surgeon, Dr. Leonard Hochstein, stated that Kristin had undergone an eyelift.
On the other hand, aesthetic nurse specialist Jill Caruso also said that her regimen could include lasers, retinoids, moisturizers, serums, and daily SPF.
Dr. Youn also stated that Kristin’s lips appear to have been plumped with an injectable, such as Juvederm.
Cosmetic dermatologist Dr. Kenneth Mark said Kristin has way too much Botox on her forehead. He added,
“She has way too much Botox in her forehead,” “which has left her with a heavy brow. I can barely see her beautiful eyes.”

Some sources have even claimed that Kristin’s smooth and wrinkle-free forehead is the result of regular Botox injections.
Several experts have also noted that her nose appears narrower and more refined, which has led to speculation about whether she has undergone rhinoplasty, also known as a nose job.
However, during one of the interviews, she denied having plastic surgery. She said,
I didn’t had any plastic surgery, but she champions those who do.

She added,
“Hey, if you want to have a facelift, go for it. Get your face. Just own it!”
