Shaedon Sharpe, the rising Canadian star of the Portland Trail Blazers, credits his parents for their constant support.

The former Kentucky Wildcats star Shaedon Sharpe, who began his professional career with the Portland Trail Blazers of the NBA in 2022, has been showcasing his exceptional basketball skills, winning the hearts of millions.

In a recent game between the Trail Blazers and Phoenix Suns, Sharpe led in his team’s 121-119 victory by scoring pivotal 9 points, 1 rebound, and 2 assists.

Moroever, Sharpe represented Canada at the 2019 FIBA Under-16 Americas Championship in Brazil, where he averaged 13 points, 3.7 rebounds, and 2.3 assists, leading his team to win the Silver Medal.

“You could see the love and the passion in him anytime he stepped on the basketball court and had the ball in his hand, this is his dream … that was his main focus even from a young age, and he stuck to it.”

Robert further talked about his son’s personality, stating that although Shaedon might initially seem quite reserved and quiet, he is a very humble and fun-loving guy.

In addition to his father, Shaedon’s mother, Julia Bell, often shares her son’s achievements on social media.

Robert and Julia raised Shaedon Sharpe and his two siblings to be humble and kind-hearted.

Moreover, Shaedon Sharpe has an elder sister named Amari Sharpe and a younger brother named Nishayne Sharpe.

Shaedon Sharpe’s brother Nishayne Sharpe is following in his footsteps in basketball and currently plays for the StriveHoops.

His elder sister, Amari Sharpe, is a registered Kinesiologist with the College of Kinesiologists of Ontario.

She completed her Bachelor of Arts in kinesiology at Western University and earned her sports business management degree from Humber College.
