He grew up in Jennings, Louisiana, and attended Jennings High School, where he had an impressive senior year. Throughout his high school career, he gathered a total of 8,864 yards and scored 115 touchdowns.
Etienne was highly regarded as a recruit, earning a four-star rating and being ranked as the 15th highest-rated running back recruit in the country. Later, he made the commitment to play college football at Clemson University on January 21, 2017.
He played college football and was drafted by the Jaguars in the first round of the 2021 NFL Draft.

Trevor Etienne, born on July 9, 2004, is five years younger than his brother Travis Etienne. He followed in his brother’s footsteps by playing football at Jennings High School in Jennings, Louisiana.
During his high school career, Trevor’s impressive performance earned him a place on the All-American Bowl Roster, and he was regarded as one of the top running backs in the class of 2022.
Ultimately, Trevor chose to pursue his college football career at the University of Florida, opting for the Gators over offers from Clemson and LSU.
In his debut collegiate game, he made an impact by gaining 63 yards on five carries, and he scored his first career touchdown in the following week’s game.
Trevor had a successful freshman season, and he even owned a spot on the SEC All-Freshman Team.

Shanea, the older sister of Travis Etienne, was born on June 30, 1991. She has pursued a career as a registered nurse. Shanea is also a mother to two daughters, Brook and Kollyns.
Travis comes from a family of athletes. During their time at Jennings High School, both Danielle and Shanea played basketball and ran track, showcasing their athletic talents.
Following in his elder brother’s footsteps, Trevor also played football for Jennings High School before deciding to pursue his college football career at the University of Florida.
Travis Sr. works in the oil industry, while Donnetta has a career as a nurse. Jennings is where Travis Jr. attended high school, which ultimately led to him earning a scholarship to Clemson University.
The Etienne family has a longstanding connection to Jennings, and their friends have always been supportive of them.
