Hailing from Ohio, he trained under the guidance of coach Jud Logan and competed for Ashland University, an institution in the NCAA Division II.
Furthermore, Bassitt clinched the top spot and earned a gold medal in the men’s 400 meters event at the 2022 USA Indoor Track and Field Championships.
Similarly, he finished second at the 2022 USA Outdoor Track and Field Championships in the 400 meters hurdles.
Moreover, the athlete won a bronze medal in the men’s 400 meters hurdles event during the 2022 World Athletics Championships.

Trevor Bassitt and his future wife, Harlie Gregory, initially crossed paths during their freshman year at Ashland University and were introduced to each other through a shared circle of friends.
Their romantic journey officially began on January 20, 2018, when they enjoyed their first date at the Cleveland Art Museum.
From that moment on, their connection blossomed, leading them to where they are today.
Fast forward three years, and on September 24, 2021, Trevor proposed to Harlie in Cheekwood Gardens in Nashville.
The two exchanged their wedding vows on October 22, 2022, and started their life as a married couple.
Currently, their family does not include any children, but the significance of Harlie’s presence in Trevor’s life cannot be overstated.

Born to Frank Gregory and Janie Jackson, Harlie Gregory pursued her studies at Ashland University from 2017 to 2021.
Commencing her professional path, she worked as a shift team lead at Pulp Juice and Smoothie from January 2018 to July 2021.
Following this, Harlie transitioned to Marco Photo Service, where she held the position of graphic designer from July 2021 to August 2022.
Presently, she has been working as a lead graphic designer at the Word Church, starting in February 2022.
Beyond her professional pursuits, Harlie identifies herself as a dedicated marathon and ultra-marathon runner.
Her social media presence reflects her commitment, as she regularly shares snapshots of her training sessions and participation in marathons.
Surprisingly, the thought of running hadn’t occurred to her until her first year of college.
The turning point arrived in 2018 when she embarked on her maiden half marathon and completed her first full marathon in 2019.
