Trevor prefers to maintain a low-profile lifestyle and has made conscious efforts to avoid excessive media attention.

Cone started his junior golf career at Virginia Tech (August 2011 – May 2015).

There he won at the Ellie Mae Classic held at TPC Stonebrae in Hayward but couldn’t finish the 2019-20 season as expected.
