Trey Holly, age 19, is the most accomplished running back in Louisiana high school history. The LSU’s running back turned himself in to the Union Parish Sheriff’s Office on Thursday.
A promising carer might be on the verge of collapsing for Trey Holly. A freshman at LSU, Holly ran for 110 yards on 11 carries last season. At Union Parish High School, Holly scored 160 touchdowns and broke their all-time rushing record.
The teenager is said to be involved in an apartment complex shooting that happened on February 9. The shooting occurred within Farmerville, Louisiana city limits. Two victims were left injured, and the Sheriffs discovered gunshot wounds.
In a statement shared by LSU, the university has suspended Trey indefinitely from all team activities. Holly was named the Louisiana Class 3A offensive player of the year in 2020 and 2021.

Holly rushed for 849 yards and ten touchdowns in his first year at Union Parish. He followed it with 1,638 yards and ten touchdowns, and in his sophomore year, Holly rushed for 2709 yards and 22 scores.
In his junior year, Trey rushed for 2,633 yards and 33 touchdowns. He also led Union Parish to an LHSAA Class 3A championship appearance, where Farmers fell to Sterlington 26-24.
In 2022, Holly again led his team to the championship, but this time, Union Parish lost out against Many. In his prep career, Holly managed 2,694 yards and 38 touchdowns.
ESPN ranked Holly at no.10 for running back and no.172 overall player in the Class of 2023. He was listed as high as the nation’s no.4 running back by Rivals.com.

Trey Holly is one of five kids of Tamara Holly. His elder sister, Takya Holly, recently shared a GoFundMe page so that her audience can help her in raising Trey’s legal charges.
The goal has been set at $30,000, with $622 so far raised. The running back was charged with three felony charges in connection to an alleged attempted murder at an apartment complex shooting on February 9.
Holly was charged with attempted second-degree murder, illegal use of weapons, and aggravated criminal damage to property. His bond is set at $512,000.
He was one of three people arrested in connection with the shooting. On Takya’s GoFundMe page, alongside Trey, she is also raising fees for Tamarion Holly, who is likely to be their brother.
As stated by People, a 16-year-old male juvenile was also charged with attempted second-degree murder, illegal use of weapons, aggravated criminal damage to property, and illegal possession of a handgun by a juvenile.
The juvenile’s bond was set at $522,000. So, this 16-year-old is likely Tamarion. Another teenager named Jordan Ramond Jones was also charged with attempted second-degree murder and illegal use of weapons.
