Huntington, West Virginia, community mourns the untimely death of beloved native and longtime coach, Bradley Clay Hutchison.
Bradley Clay Hutchison passed away unexpectedly on Monday, January 5, 2026, at the age of 36; however, details surrounding his untimely death are not yet available.
Born on January 16, 1989, Bradley Hutchison was a cherished member of the Huntington sports community and guided numerous young athletes with his years-long coaching journey.
He excelled in multiple sports while attending Spring Valley High School and had an immense passion for professional wrestling and playing baseball.
Furthermore, Bradley Hutchison went on to become a beloved coach for Vinson Little League, leading his baseball team in several victories.
Additionally, he was an avid Cincinnati Reds and Marshal University athletics fan and never missed any game.
Likewise, Hutchison also had a great love for hardcore music shows and was a family man who was loyal, loving, and kind.
He was a member of the Huntington Beacon of HOPE SDA Church.
The untimely death of Bradley Hutchison has left a profound void in the lives of his family, friends, and loved ones.
Many of his loved ones are sharing his memories on social media and extending their heartfelt condolences to his family during this difficult time.

Bradley Hutchison is Survived By His Wife, Michaela, and The Entire Family
In addition to being an amazing coach, Bradley Hutchison was also a devoted husband to his wife, Michaela, and a great father to his two kids, son Drew, and daughter, Evie.
Bradley instilled in his son the love and passion for sports, guiding him in his athletic journey from a very young age.
Bradley Hutchison also leaves behind his father Fred (Karen) Hutchison, mother, Kathy Hutchison, mother in law Tammy Vance, grandparents Dave and Linda Kloman, brother Seth (Danielle) Lewis, sisters Hilary (James) Hennings and Haylee Smith, sister in law Korenne (Paul) Morrison, aunts Sue Ellen Chapman (Brent Wallace), April Long, Sharon (Alan) Dodge, Fay (Larry) Queen, uncles Frank (Teri) Hutchison and Barry (Leah) Lewis, numerous nieces and nephews and the entire family.
His mother took to her social media to share a beautiful childhood picture of the late Bradley and wrote:
“I will never forget you my beloved son Bradley Hutchison I love until forever.”

Brad was preceded in death by his beloved brother Andrew Hutchison.
His contribution to the Huntington community as a proud coach, father, and his kind nature will always be remembered.
The Huntington, West Virginia, community has also organized a fundraiser to help Bradley’s family during this difficult time.
A memorial service will be held at 2 PM Sunday, January 11, 2026, at the Huntington Beacon of HOPE SDA Church. The family will receive friends from 1 PM Sunday until service time at the church.
