Teagan Merritt, the daughter of Gina and Zion, was born in Junction City, Oregon. Her parents raised her in a close-knit family alongside her sister, Criss Doggett-Cramer.

She was a 16-year-old beloved young woman known for her bright, fierce, and loving spirit.

Sadly, Teagan was involved in a severe car accident with her friend, which has left her in critical condition.

She was a passenger in a car that was legally stopped, waiting to turn into a driveway, when it was struck from behind by a truck. She was napping in the back seat while returning home.

The impact sent the car 20 yards down the road and into a creek.

Teagan suffered serious injuries, even though the driver’s prompt actions are credited with saving her life. She is currently in the ICU, and the next 24 hours are critical for her survival.

If she pulls through, she faces a long and challenging road to recovery that will require long-term care.

She is a renowned and deeply loved figure in local rodeo and wrestling circles, and her fight has touched the hearts of countless people.

Our sweet girl made it through the night.
At this time, she is only responsive to painful stimuli. However, she is not very responsive to stimuli on the right side at all. Her heart rate is dropping occasionally. She is on life support still.
The biggest concern is preventing a stroke d/t a clot in her carotid artery. There is a tear on in her brain tissue that is causing bleeding and swelling of the brain. Interventions right now are primarily to keep the swelling down and to keep the brain bleed from getting worse.

A GoFundMe has been created to support her and her family during this unimaginable time.

All funds will go directly towards Teagan’s massive medical bills, her future rehabilitation, and living expenses as her parents remain by her side in the hospital.

Thank you to everyone who has donated to Cash App or GoFundMe. We truly appreciate you all! Teagan would be so amazed at the amount of people rooting for her and who care about her.

The community is now united, sending strength and hope for Teagan’s recovery.

We wish Teagan Merritt a quick and complete recovery.
