Olivia Ray started cheering for the Ware County Gators back in 6th grade and stuck with it all through high school.

She loved being on the sidelines, the excitement of the games, the teamwork, and all the energy it brought.

For the last two years, she even got to be the Gator mascot, running around in the costume and pumping up the crowd with her big school spirit.

Outside of cheer, she was super involved in her school and community.

Olivia served on the First Southern Junior Board of Directors and the Hospice Junior Board of Directors. Likewise, she was on the WCHS swim team, in the Beta Club, FCA, and DECA.

Morgan Miller, one of Olivia’s close friends, said she still can’t believe how quickly everything turned upside down. They were sitting in class together just this past Friday, normal as ever, and then the very next day came that awful phone call saying Olivia was gone

Heartbroken, Morgan wrote, “Genuinely at loss for words for how fast things can change. After being in class with Olivia Friday, to receiving that devastating call last night. Olivia was genuinely one of the sweetest people you could know and one of the most bright souls ever.

Likewise, several shared their words of condolences and eulogies. This speaks volumes about how loving a person she was.

Thus far, her family hasn’t shared details about her funeral and memorial services.

During this challenging time, we pray for the strength of Olivia Ray’s boyfriend, parents, twin brother, extended family, and friends.

Rest In Heavenly Peace, Olivia Ray!
