A longtime cheerleader at Ware County High School, Olivia Ray, passed away on December 13, 2025, in a tragic vehicle accident.
Thus far, the intricate details surrounding her sudden passing remain concealed.

Scott, her father, penned a lengthy post expressing his grief. In an emotional post, he wrote that he misses her and waited for her last night like she was still alive.
He wrote that the awful feeling of rushing to the horrifying scene will always haunt him.
I waited up last night for you and I am waiting up tonight. But you just aren’t here. I want to text or call and hear your voice. I want to hug you and love you. I miss you so much and its been 24 hours.
Scott Ray
I just want to hold you baby girl. You are my angel, my sunshine

Whereas, her mother, Jeri, updated her profile picture, writing:

Olivia Ray started cheering for the Ware County Gators back in 6th grade and stuck with it all through high school.
She loved being on the sidelines, the excitement of the games, the teamwork, and all the energy it brought.
For the last two years, she even got to be the Gator mascot, running around in the costume and pumping up the crowd with her big school spirit.
Outside of cheer, she was super involved in her school and community.
Olivia served on the First Southern Junior Board of Directors and the Hospice Junior Board of Directors. Likewise, she was on the WCHS swim team, in the Beta Club, FCA, and DECA.
She was active in her church youth group too, and in her spare time she’d babysit, watch dogs, make balloon arches for parties, or dress up as characters for kids’ events.
Olivia was planning to go to South Georgia State College after graduation to study early childhood education and work with little kids; however, her dreams were cut short.

Morgan Miller, one of Olivia’s close friends, said she still can’t believe how quickly everything turned upside down. They were sitting in class together just this past Friday, normal as ever, and then the very next day came that awful phone call saying Olivia was gone
Heartbroken, Morgan wrote, “Genuinely at loss for words for how fast things can change. After being in class with Olivia Friday, to receiving that devastating call last night. Olivia was genuinely one of the sweetest people you could know and one of the most bright souls ever.“
Likewise, several shared their words of condolences and eulogies. This speaks volumes about how loving a person she was.
Thus far, her family hasn’t shared details about her funeral and memorial services.
During this challenging time, we pray for the strength of Olivia Ray’s boyfriend, parents, twin brother, extended family, and friends.
Rest In Heavenly Peace, Olivia Ray!
