A beloved son, husband, and father, Telly Davis passed away bravely fighting cancer on January 13, 2026.
He was first diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in April 2025 and had been fighting for 9 months until he lost the battle in January 2026.
Telly Davis is survived by his wife of 4 years, Ewana Davis, their kids, mother, Lardie Elcock, and grandchildren.
Ewana and Telly walked down the aisle on August 25, 2021.
Similarly, he also leaves behind his uncle, Willie B Jackson, and extended family and friends.
His mother, Lardie, penned a tribute post writing, “It’s hard to believe you my son are no longer with us. You fought a good fight, and you have finished your course. I am blessed that God allowed me to be your mother, what a blessing it has been.“

Eight months into his cancer journey, Telly had shared his own update through Facebook, explaining how hard he had been battling every single day. He wrote:
Whats up my beautiful ppl! Many of you may not know but over the last 8 months I’ve been fighting pancreatic cancer. It’s been a heavy weight fight each and everyday but unfortunately I’m losing on the scorecard.

He revealed through the post that doctors had recently given him a timeframe for how much longer he might have, writing:
This past Wednesday, a date (timeframe) of life expectancy was provided by the Dr. upon my request.

Nonetheless, he stayed determined to push past that as long as he could, calling himself a warrior until God called him home.
“Our goal is to continue with the fight to extend this life way past that date, until God is ready for this WARRIOR!” Telly had written.
In fact, he didn’t just rely on God but also expressed his gratitude to everyone who stood by him through it all, via, phone calls, texts, direct messages, surprise visits. He wrote:
We are soooo thankful for having yall in our lives. Everyone can’t be named but yall know.

S/O to the strongest women I know, my Mother and my Wife…My guy Pastor Duncan….The Browns, The Taylors, The Wades, The Dunsons, The Williams and countless individuals; y’all know who you are!

Sadly, Telly left this world, and the news hit his loved ones deeply. His uncle, Willie B Jackson, wrote about the exhaustion that comes with grief.
I am exhausted by the grief I feel for his wife and children. I am fatigued, watching bright lights untimely extinguished. My heart is heavy because my sister suffers in her anguish, sorrow and loss.
Willie B Jackson
To my beloved nephew, Rest in peace…. To cherished sister, Peace be still.
Likewise, several other whose life was positively impacted by Telly came forward to share eulogy, including Christa Frazier who called Telly her brother from another mother.
She described how he stepped up without hesitation after her son Dijon died, helping with the Dijon Foundation and designing special apparel to keep her son’s memory alive.
Thus far, detatils about Telly’s funeral and memorial services have yet to be published by his family.
During this difficult time, we pray for the strength of Telly’s wife, kids, mother, friends, and extended family.
Rest Easy, Telly Davis!
