Jeremy Reaves, one of the leading safeties and special teams players for the Washington Commanders, has been in the news recently for his game and a big personal move.
Immediately following the Commanders’ nail-biting 30-24 overtime win over the Atlanta Falcons on December 29, 2024, Reaves popped the question in a most tender moment to Mikaela Worley, who stole the show and the headlines.
The game marked a defining point for the Commanders since 2020 as it made a comeback in playoff games.
Reaves, who joined in 2018, thought this was just about time to take control of Worley’s life on the field as the teams fought for the big win.

Mikaela accepted enthusiastically, leading to cheers from teammates and fans surrounding them.
NBC commentator Mike Tirico humorously remarked, “Of course, she said yes. You’re in the playoffs now,” highlighting the event’s celebratory atmosphere.
Reaves revealed his feelings afterward about the proposal, saying that he had thought about it for a week but wanted to do it after a win.
“She deserves it,” he said about Worley, citing how she stood by him through tough times in the NFL.
This engagement marks a new stage in their relationship and Reaves’ commitment to his career and personal life.
