Kevin Was A Big Figure In Seattle’s Music Scene, In Addition To His Wrestling Career
As a longtime host of KISW 99.9 “The Rock,” he made an inspiring mark on the airwaves.
Kevin first joined KISW after winning a contest to host Metal Shop alongside his friend Ian Reas.
His passion for heavy metal and local music shone through, and he later became the voice of Loud and Local, a show dedicated to showcasing Seattle’s up-and-coming bands.

“KISW lost a member of the family this week, Kevin Diers.
Kevin has been a part of the family here at The Rock after winning a contest to host Metal Shop with his friend an co-host Ian Reas. He later went on to be the long time host of Loud and Local as well. Kevin brought infectious enthusiasm and passion for everything he did. Especially Seattle music, the metal scene and pro wrestling. Local musicians and metal fans lost one of their biggest champions and we all lost a dear friend.

Born to Joni Stevens Diers, Kevin shared a close bond with his family, including his sister, Jennifer Diers Bunn.
He was devoted to his longtime girlfriend, Quyen Le, who supported him through good times and bad.
