Rhett Kelly Roberson’s Family Mourns The Tragic Loss
Rhett Kelly Roberson, the son of Ty and Nikki Roberson, was born on December 12, 2011.
His parents raised him in a close-knit family alongside his two siblings, Colby Hart and Hailey Roberson.
The Roberson family announced the tragic news of Rhett’s passing.
His vibrant and adventurous life was cut short as a result of injuries sustained in a 4-wheeler accident while he was enjoying one of his favorite outdoor hobbies.
He was a force of nature, a young man whose magnetic personality left a lasting impression on everyone he met.
Just like his beloved mother, Nikki, he possessed the incredible gift of making friends everywhere he went. He filled every room with his unique sense of humor and an uncanny ability to lighten the mood.
Rhett had a special soft spot for animals, showering them with constant love and attention.
His life was a whirlwind of hobbies and new adventures. He was a true daredevil who never shied away from danger. He lived for his wild side and loved everything the great outdoors had to offer.
Rhett’s tragic news comes just three months after the sudden passing of his mother, Nikki West Roberson, from a brain hematoma in early July.
The Roberson family is now facing the overwhelming challenge of covering funeral and burial expenses, as well as his medical bills. They are still grappling with the immense emotional and financial toll from Nikki’s passing.
This family needs a lot of prayer and support.

Rhett was Zoey’s classmate and I know he is going to be terribly missed. Based on all of the pictures and videos and comments from the kids the last two days, I know the impact made by his life, while short, was big. Never miss the chance to tell people what they mean to you. Please pray for his family, his teachers, and close friends and give if you are able. ❤️🩹
Rhett was preceded in death by his mother, Nikki West Roberson; his grandparents, Phillip West and Barbara Roberson, and her husband, Clarence; and his great-grandparents, Madge West and her husband, Claudie.
On the other hand, he is survived by his grieving father, Ty Roberson; siblings, Colby Hart and Hailey Roberson; grandparents, Donna Nichols and her husband, Kelly; great-aunt, Beth Pennington and her husband, James; cousin, Jan Pennington; and many additional family and friends who will cherish his memory.
Service times will be posted at a later date.
The emotional and financial burden on the Roberson family is immense, and they are unprepared for these additional expenses. Funds raised will be managed by Rhett’s father, Ty, with arrangements handled by his brother, Colby, and sister, Hailey.
The family is deeply grateful for any support during this devastating time. Any contributions beyond what is needed for Rhett’s expenses will go toward the significant medical bills remaining from Nikki’s hospitalization.
Furthermore, the Roberson family has always been a pillar of support for their school and community.
Ty and Nikki were dedicated supporters of Randall High’s track and field program, and Nikki was well-known as the owner of The Pampered Pooch in Canyon for over 20 years.
Rest In Peace, Rhett Kelly Roberson.
