Parker attributes his success to his parents, who provided him with a great upbringing. He was raised in a blue-collar environment, which was heavily influenced by his parents’ strong work ethics.
His father worked a regular 9-to-5 job, while his mother was a school teacher. This provided him with a balanced environment where his passion for hockey and academic success were equally emphasized.
