The Northwestern University basketball coach, Chris Collins, is the father of two kids: a son, Ryan, and a daughter, Kate Collins.

Since the Collins family has a history of association with sports (Chris’ father, Doug is a former NBA player-turned-coach), many are eager if the Wildcats coach’s children would also pursue the same career path.

As a matter of fact, his son, Ryan, who is still a student, works as a student manager at NWU. So, what’s his daughter Kate doing now?

Afterward, he had coach stints at Chicago Bulls (1986-89), Detriot Pistons (1995-98), Washington Wizards (2001-03), and Philadelphia 76ers (2010-13).

In between the 1980s & early 2000s, he served as an analyst for various NBA-related broadcast shows. Since 2017, Doug’s been serving as a senior advisor of basketball operations at the Chicago Bulls.
