Brian Patrick Cushing was born on January 24, 1987. Raised in Park Ridge, New Jersey, he honed his skills and attended Bergen Catholic High School in Oradell.

In high school, Cushing played a pivotal role, leading the Crusaders to victory in the 2004 Group IV State Championship and earning recognition as the ‘2004 North Jersey Player of the Year’ by The Record.

He later committed to the University of Southern California (USC), playing for the USC Trojans from 2005 to 2008 under head coach Pete Carroll.

In 2009, Brian entered the NFL Draft after participating in events like the 2009 NFL Scouting Combine and the Senior Bowl.

Alongside fellow USC linebackers Rey Maualuga and Clay Matthews III, he graced the cover of Sports Illustrated’s 2009 NFL Draft Preview magazine.

Megan Cushing, born Megan Ohai on July 22, 1989, is the daughter of Cindy Cook and Ben Ohai.

Her father, Ben, is notably a two-time NCAA All-American wrestler at BYU and an NCAA finalist. Megan has three sisters: Cami, Aubrey, and Kealia.

Kealia, Megan’s younger sister, gained recognition under the name Kealia Watt after her marriage to NFL defensive end Justin James Watt.

Kealia Ohai has played for the Chicago Red Stars in the National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL) since 2020.

According to USC, Megan achieved the No. 10 all-time spot with 14 career goals and seven game-winning goals.

Beyond college, Megan significantly contributed to U.S. national teams, competing with the Under-23 team in England in 2009 and being part of the U.S. Under-15 and Under-16 squads.

Her high school years at Alta High in Salt Lake City were equally impressive, with four-time all-region selections and setting a school scoring record with 97 goals and 64 assists.

Megan’s commitment extended to club soccer, philanthropy (as a co-founder of The Brian Cushing Foundation), and academic pursuits, earning a bachelor’s degree in Psychology.
