Nicole and Kalen have chosen to remain away from social media and have kept things private. But if Nicole shares any posts on her social media handle, it is only about her family.

The former Fresno State coach, DeBoer, was hired by Washington in 2021, and within two seasons, he has made a considerable impact on the side. Many have said that it is Kalen’s master of the offense that has helped his side go from a 4-8 team to the College Football Playoff.

Kalen and Nicole met in 2000, and by the end of 2001, they tied the knot. The two walked down the aisle on December 29, 2001, at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church.

When Kalen married Nicole, he was the offensive coordinator for the University of Sioux Falls football and an assistant baseball coach.

The husband-wife duo have kept their married life away from the public limelight. There have only been a few occasions that the football coach has mentioned his wife.

The two are also not big on social media. On Instagram, Nicole has shared a singular picture, and that is of her and Kalen with their eldest daughter.

She has shared more on her Facebook handle, with her feed filled with several family pictures. On X (formerly Twitter), Nicole has only shared posts about her daughter’s baseball achievements. So, for Nicole, it is family that matters.

Kalen And Nicole Share Two Daughters

The football couple, Kalen and Nicole, share two girls-Alexis and Avery. Their eldest daughter, Alexis, has followed a similar path to them.

Alexis committed to the University of Washington softball team in September 2022. She was ranked 13th by Extra Inning Softball in the 2024 class. A standout player, Alexis changed high school after her father was hired by the Huskies in 2021.

Previously, Alexis played softball at Clovis North (Fresno, California) before moving to Bellevue. In her junior season, Alexis hit .667 with a .754 on-base percentage, 35 RBI, 32 hits, and 12 homers in 18 games.

The youngster previously shared that Jennie Finch is one of her idols and would want to meet her. In 2021, when asked about her father’s appointment as Huskies coach, Alexis said she was excited about the adventure ahead of her and her family.

She was named in the First Team All-State and the PGF Juniors All-American. When asked why she chose UW, Alexis said it was because of their championship culture, great leadership, and high standards of academics.

During her time at Bellevue, Alexis was also part of the volleyball squad. In November, she shared a photo of her signing the national letter of intent and had her entire family beside her.

She captioned the post, “Appreciation post for my favorite people:)”

Alexis’s younger sister, Avery, is in eighth grade and is said to be enthusiastic about horse riding. In short, we might see Avery take an athletic route like her sister and parents.
