A former professional basketball player, Brian Skinner played for several NBA teams.

He was born on May 19, 1976, and had a remarkable career in basketball.

Skinner played as a forward center for Baylor University and later joined the Los Angeles Clippers in the first round (22nd pick overall) of the 1998 NBA draft.

Although Skinner was traded between teams like the Chicago Bulls and Toronto Raptors without playing, he made notable contributions during his time with the 76ers, where a trade involving Chris Webber took place.

Skinner continued his professional journey with trades to Portland, Milwaukee, and eventually the Phoenix Suns in 2007.

After returning to the Clippers in 2008 and later joining the Bucks in 2010, Skinner had multiple stints with various teams before his release in January 2011.

Despite briefly making it to the Memphis Grizzlies’ roster in 2011, he was waived before the end of the year.

Brian’s eldest daughter Avery was born in born April 25, 1999, and is 27 Years Old.

Avery is a volleyball player who plays outside hitter for the United States women’s national volleyball team and the Italian Series A1 team Chieri.

She started playing volleyball during her school years at HCYA, where she helped her team win state championships in 2015 and 2016.

Madisen Skinner is also a skilled volleyball player who currently plays for Texas University.

Her athletic resume is impressive, having been named a two-time AVCA Honorable Mention All-American and a two-time All-SEC selection.

In 2020, Madisen played a pivotal role in Kentucky’s National Championship win, leading the team as a true freshman during that victorious season.

She contributed 2.85 kills per set and showcased a .384 hitting percentage. In the National Championship match against Texas, she had a season-high 19 kills.
