An American football coach, Matt Nagy has been happily married to his wife, Stacey Nagy, for over two decades.
Stacey and Matt, who were high school sweethearts, tied the knot in 2002. The couple now has a family of six, including their four children.
Matthew Nagy, born on April 24, 1978, in Dunellen, New Jersey, is an American football coach and former quarterback.
His parents, Gail Stouch and Bill Nagy divorced when he was three years old. After the divorce, he moved from Piscataway to Manheim, Pennsylvania, with his mother.
Nagy attended Manheim Central High School in Pennsylvania, where he was active in both football and basketball.
He secured the position of starting quarterback during his junior year. Nagy later played college football at the University of Delaware from 1997 to 2000, where he set multiple school passing records.
After college, Nagy joined the Arena Football League (AFL) for six seasons, playing for teams such as the New York Dragons, Carolina Cobras, Georgia Force, and Columbus Destroyers.
After his playing days, Nagy transitioned into coaching, initially joining the Philadelphia Eagles in 2009 as an assistant coach under head coach Andy Reid.
He was eventually appointed head coach of the Chicago Bears in 2018, leading the team to its first NFC North division title and playoff appearance in several years.
Who Is Stacey Nagy, Matt Nagy Wife?
Stacey Nagy, the wife of accomplished American football coach Matt Nagy, is known for her preference for a quiet, private life away from the public eye.
Despite her husband’s prominent career, Stacey remains grounded and focuses on what truly matters to her, primarily her family.
She is occasionally seen on the red carpet with her husband and has been a pillar of support for him since day one.
Matt and Stacey’s love story began during their high school days, and got married in 2002. Since their marriage, they have built a happy life together with their four children.
Stacey is a devoted wife and mother, fully invested in nurturing her family and supporting her husband’s successful career.
She serves as a role model for many, showing the importance of maintaining a well-rounded and meaningful life.
The Couple Share Four Kids.
The lovely couple is blessed with four sons named Brayden, Tate, Jaxon, and Jett.
Interestingly, all their children were born before Matt embarked on his second time in coaching.
Matt has openly shared that he and his wife were expecting the arrival of a daughter, only to welcome twin boys into the family.
Following in their father’s footsteps, Brayden and Tate Nagy attended Lake Forest High School and engaged in football.
Unfortunately, during one game against Cary-Grove High School, the situation turned sour when the opposing team chanted “Fire Nagy.”
This chant was supposedly directed at Matt Nagy’s son. The principal of Cary-Grove High School subsequently issued a formal apology on behalf of the students.
