Kendrick Bourne celebrates his kids through family moments and social media posts.

Kendrick L. Bourne, born on August 4, 1995, built his NFL career through determination and resilience.

He played college football for the Eastern Washington Eagles from 2013 to 2016, where he quickly established himself as a reliable wide receiver.

In 2017, despite going undrafted, Bourne signed a three-year contract with the San Francisco 49ers.

His rookie year was modest, but he showed flashes of potential, steadily improving and earning praise from head coach Kyle Shanahan.

By 2018, Bourne became a bigger contributor, leading the 49ers’ wide receivers in receptions and yards.

His role continued to expand, and in 2019, he helped San Francisco reach Super Bowl LIV, where he recorded 42 receiving yards.

In 2020, he posted his best season yet with 49 catches for 667 yards.

Bourne joined the New England Patriots in 2021 on a three-year, $15 million contract and delivered a career-high 800-yard season.

Known for his energy and playmaking ability, he became a fan favorite.

Though his 2023 season ended with a torn ACL, he returned determined, signing a contract extension in 2024.

However, the Patriots released him in August 2025, leaving the next chapter of his career open.

Kendrick Bourne Balances NFL Life While Being Devoted to His Kids

Away from the field, Kendrick Bourne is a devoted father.

His family life reflects the same passion and dedication he brings to football.

Across public interviews, tattoos, and social media posts, Bourne has openly expressed how his children inspire him to keep growing.

Bourne’s first son, Valentin, was born around 2017. Valentin was present at his father’s first NFL touchdown, and Bourne even tattooed his name on his back.

His daughter Mila Marie, born in June 2019, was also celebrated by Bourne with heartfelt posts and tattoos honoring her.

Both Valentin and Mila were frequently mentioned in early reports, though recent updates suggest they may be from a previous relationship.

With his wife, Vanessa Bourne, Kendrick shares two younger daughters.

Their firstborn, Valentina Rose, has been described by Vanessa as her “first born” and is often featured in family-centered posts.

In January 2024, they welcomed another daughter, Ka’via Malani, who turned one in early 2025.

Bourne and Vanessa frequently share joyful family moments online, from vacations to birthdays, showing the central role his daughters play in his life.

Although Bourne keeps many details private, it’s clear his children are his greatest motivation.

Whether honoring them with tattoos or mentioning them in interviews, he consistently emphasizes that family is at the heart of everything he does.
