Woodie Earl Beck III, a beloved Alabama native and high school coach, passed away recently in a tragic multi-vehicle accident, leaving his wife, kids, and loved ones devastated.
The 53-year-old Woodie Earl Beck III, along with 37-year-old Ashley Marie Springer McDonald, lost their lives at Thomasville on Tuesday, May 6, 2025.
Woodie was a beloved coach and teacher at Wilcox Academy. He served as the school’s head softball coach, an assistant football coach, and a physical education teacher.

The late Woodie Beck III was happily married to his second wife, Tiffany Grace Andrews Beck, since October 2023.

Furthermore, Tiffany was not only a devoted wife to her late husband, Woodie Beck III, but she is also an accomplished dancer and choreographer.
Born to father Bruce Andrews and mother Joy Bakane Andrews, Tiffany began her dancing journey from a very young age of two, inspired by her mother, who is also a former dancer and choreographer.
Alongside her mother, Tiffany Beck began teaching dance to young girls at the age of 17 at her mother’s dance academy, Joy’s Dance Company.
The late Woodie’s wife, Tiffany, currently owns her own dance studio named A Time To Dance.
In addition to her dancing career, she also manages The Pecan Downton, a wine and gourmet restaurant in Camden, Alabama. Tiffany attended Thompson High School and graduated from the University of Mobile.
Furthermore, Tiffany is a proud mother of two kids, Slade Hines and Carson Hines, the late Woodie’s step-sons.
Despite not being Slade and Crason’s biological father, the late Woodie Beck loved them and guided them in their sports journey.
Crason Hines plays multiple sports at Thomasville High School, including baseball, football, and golf.

The late coach Woodie Beck III and his former wife, Amy Patrick Parker, were proud parents of three sons: Jacob Edward, Joseph Harrison, and John Patrick Beck.
Woodie Beck III was preceded in death by his son Jacob Edward Beck, who passed away on August 11, 2023, at the untimely age of 24.
Moreover, Jacob Beck, born on December 21, 1998, in Meridian, MS, was the eldest son of the late Woodie Beck III and his former wife, Amy Patrick Parker.
Woodie often shared pictures of his late son on his social media, expressing his love for him.
Jacob, a 2018 graduate of South Choctaw Academy, followed in his father Woodie’s footsteps in sports. He showcased his exceptional football skills playing for the Boys Varsity Football team.
Likewise, he worked at Twin River Contractors and loved hunting and fishing outdoors.
Like late Jacob, Woodie’s other two sons, Joseph and John, showcased their amazing athletic skills at Wilcox High School.
His youngest son, John Patrick Beck, plays both Varsity football and basketball at Wilcox Academy, where his late father, Woodie, served as the head coach, and is set to graduate in 2025.
Similarly, Joseph Harrison Beck, who played football at Wilcox Academy, currently works at RTF Project Services LLC.
Talking about Woodie Beck’s former wife, Amy Patrick Parker, who is married to Heath Parker, works at Arbonne as an Independent Consultant and is a hygienist at Dr. George T Pugh Jr., DMD.
