The Australian motorsports driver, Will Power, is one of the four siblings. He does not have a sister but has three brothers; Damien, Nick, and Ken.

Will Power is a popular Australian motorsports driver who competes in IndyCar Series and drives No. 12 for Team Penske. 

Born and raised in Queensland, Australia, to a racer father, Will adored the adrenaline surge that went with racing.

He began racing in 1999 and won numerous awards and prizes at the Queensland Formula Ford Championship.

After three years of Formula Ford racing, he was selected for Formula Holden, where he raced for the Graham Watson-owned Ralt Australian team.

He drove a Reynard 94D with the Australian team and flew past all the racers in Formula Holden. He won the 2002 Australian Drivers’ Championship with over 50 points from Stewart McColl.

In 2003, Power initially joined hands with the Diamond Racing of British Formula 3 Championship racing and later joined Fortec Motorsport.

After a ninth-place finish with Alan Docking Racing in 2004, he tested a Minardi Formula One car with his British Formula 3 rival Will Davison.

Power also raced for Champ Car Team Australia at the Lexmark Indy 300 but signed with KV Racing Technology in 2008.

In 2009, he replaced Helio Castroneves at Team Penske and later joined the team full-time.

The Australian motorsports driver has been racing the No. 12 for Team Penske since his return in 2012.

In his IndyCar Series career, he has 244 races with 39 wins and 89 podium finishes.

In the 2017 Melbourne Comedy Festival, the committee nominated Damien for the Melbourne Comedy Festival Award. It was his third nomination. He won the Pinder Prize, an Edinburgh Periphery grant named for incredible comedy producer John Pinder.

In 2017, Wyatt Cenac selected Damien Power for the Just For Laughs Festival in Montreal. The Comedy Network filmed the festival, and he appeared on All Access.

Will Power’s brother, Nick Power, is an acclaimed choreographer based in Sydney, Australia. And Ken Power is an accountant.

Early Life & Family

Will Power was born to his parents, Bob and Marge Power, in Queensland, Australia, on March 1, 1981.

His dad, Bob Power, was a famous open-wheel racer in Australia. Bob was tough in some ways but overall was a good and supportive dad.

Will’s parents showered him and his sibling with all the love in the world, which taught him how he should be as a father.

Will, now, is a dad himself and shares a son with his wife, Elizabeth Power (nee Cannon). The couple started dating and eventually tied the knot on December 17, 2010.

They welcomed their son, Beau William Power, in December 2016. The motorsports driver announced their happiness via an Instagram post.

He uploaded a picture with the caption, “Most amazing experience of my life. Best Xmas present you could ask for. Beau William Power…9lbs 4 oz 21 inches long-big boy.”
