Brother Juancho

Juancho and Willy were born into a basketball-rich family, with their mother, Margarita Geuer Draeger, and father, Guillermo Hernangomez Heredero, being accomplished basketball players in Spain.

Following their parents’ footsteps, both brothers started their careers in the Spanish ACB League, with Juancho playing for CB Estudiantes and Willy representing Real Madrid.

Their talents and dedication caught the attention of NBA scouts, leading to their selection in the 2016 NBA Draft.

Willy was drafted first as the 35th overall pick by the Philadelphia 76ers but ended up signing with the New York Knicks.

Whereas, Juancho, drafted as the 15th overall pick, joined the Denver Nuggets.

While Willy has maintained a more consistent NBA career, playing for three teams and currently contributing significantly to FC Barcelona.

Juancho has had a more tumultuous journey, playing for six different teams in seven seasons, and currently being a free agent.

Andrea Hernangomez

Andrea Hernangomez, born on May 6, 2000, is the daughter of athletic parents Margarita and Guillermo Hernangomez.

She has two brothers who play in the NBA: Willy (FC Barcelona) and Juan ‘Juancho’ (free agent).

She pursued a major in Marketing while attending the Carmen Conde High School, where she showcased her basketball skills playing as a forward.

Andrea Hernangomez played college basketball for the Fairfield Stags in the NCAA Division I.

In her final season, she made significant contributions to the team, leading in rebounds with 6.5 per game, ranking among the top-10 players in the MAAC.

Additionally, she showcased her defensive skills with 43 steals and 55 assists, helping propel her team to success in the competitive conference.
