Loz Nicholson Is Expecting Her First Child With The Illawarra Hawks’ Head Coach Jacob Jackomas!

On October 9, 2024, Lauren announced that she is pregnant and expecting her first child with her partner Jacob Jackomas in April 2025.

She made this announcement via Instagram, which led to fans swarming under the comment section of her post to congratulate the basketball star.

Nicholson also revealed that she is having a baby boy through her post’s caption. Loz and Jacob have dated for 2 years but have not married yet.

However the information regarding the couple’s relationship is not publicly available, leading to just speculations about how the couple met.

Loz has always been a fan of the Illawarra Hawks. Her admiration and fascination with the Hawks might’ve made Loz get closer to Jacob.

This is because Jacob is the head coach of the Illawarra Hawks in the NBL. After serving as an assistant coach under Brian Goorijan, Jacob was appointed head coach in 2023.

The couple’s shared passion and interest in the basketball has definitely helped in building their relationship.

Even though the news about Loz’s pregnancy has made everyone happy, fans are also sad as she would be absent from 2024-25 WNBL season.

Nevertheless, Loz has planned to stay in touch with the team, hoping to have a comeback in the 2025-26 season.

As mentioned above, Nicholson has built a solid reputation due to her work ethic and leadership on the court.

She is a valuable asset to her team as well as the WNBL, so her absence in the upcoming 2024-25 season would be felt strongly.
