His passing has brought deep sadness to his family, friends, former students, and community members who knew him for his dedication, kindness, and passion for teaching.

Born on October 1, 1938, to the late Kenneth and Gladys Ewing Jones, Robert grew up in Blairsville before settling in Allegheny Township, where he has lived for the past 56 years.

He built a life rooted in education, service, and family, leaving a lasting impact on those around him.

Known for his mechanical skills, Robert often helped others by fixing whatever he could.

He loved teaching and continued to explore his passion for religious studies throughout his life.

Outside of work, he was a loyal fan of the Pittsburgh Pirates and college football.
