Emergency crews responded to a devastating single-vehicle crash that claimed the life of Horton Jennie Annette near the Greene and Craighead County line.

The Arkansas Department of Transportation (ARDOT) reported the incident on Highway 141 South and County Road 326 at 7:37 p.m.

According to Greene County Sheriff Brad Snyder, one person was pronounced dead at the scene. ARDOT later confirmed that the roadway was cleared at 9:11 p.m., but the loss left family, friends, and the local community in deep mourning.
