Son of WWE legend Rey Mysterio, Dominik Mysterio, married Marie Juliette in June 2024. Since debuting in 2020, Mysterio has had love storylines with WWE women superstars Liv Morgan and Rhea Ripley, but the wrestler assures his wife has no problem with it.
Dominik was familiar with the glitz and glam of the wrestling world since he was a kid. His first match might’ve come in 2020, but his first appearance was in 2003 in SmackDown! as he cheered for his dad from the stands.
In 2022, Dominik came face-to-face with Rhea Ripley as an enemy, feuding with her team, The Judgement Day, consisting of her, Finn Balor, and Damian Priest.
But later, he sided with them and became Ripley’s partner. Their partnership led Rhea to the Women’s Championship, but in 2024, Dominik turned against her.
At the time, Rhea was nursing her shoulder injury, which happened after Liv Morgan attacked her at WrestleMania XL.
Dominik went on to side with Morgan and helped her win the Women’s Championship from Becky Lynch.
Rhea and Morgan tried to win over Dominik for several months, but he ultimately sided with the latter.
On January 6, 2025, on Raw’s debut episode on Netflix, Dominik tried to side with Rhea after she defeated Morgan for the Women’s World Championship title.
Dominik stood at the center of the stage with open arms in front of Rhea. And just when it looked like she was about to hug him back, she hit him with her signature move, ‘The Riptide.‘
So, it’s safe to say Dominik will have to return to Liv and forget about his partnership with Ripley.
Dominik Mysterio Reveals His Wife, Marie Juliette, Is Half-Portuguese!
During an interview, Dominik Mysterio revealed his wife, Marie Juliette, is a half-Portuguese woman.
He revealed the information during his interview with Logan Paul in his show, Impaulsive.
The topic of Marie’s ethnicity was raised after Impaulsive’s co-host, Mike Majlak, asked if Dominik’s wife, who he thought was a Latina, gets possessive about Dominik after seeing him flirt with Liv and Rhea.
Dominik said Marie knows how to separate real life from the wrestling world.
Following up on Mike’s assumption about his wife being a Latina, Dominik said Marie is also Portuguese, making viewers think she is half-Latina and half-Portuguese.
Dominik’s better half has kept herself out of the limelight. She is available on Instagram, but her page is private.
Unlike Dominik, Marie has no family ties to the wrestling world and had no idea about it before she started dating him.
The two met when they were in high school while attending Spanish class.
In a 2020 Instagram post, Dominik wrote a sweet caption for their ninth anniversary.
The wrestler wrote, “Nine years later, I am more madly in love with you than ever. I still remember the first day I laid eyes on you in Spanish class I should’ve never been in!!“
Dominik and Marie Exchanged Their Vows in March 2024!
On January 5, 2023, Dominik announced his engagement to his longtime girlfriend on his Instagram handle.
He shared a photo of him holding Marie’s hand, flaunting a beautiful diamond ring. Looking at the picture, it seems the proposal took place somewhere on a beach.
The couple tied the knot over a year later on March 7, 20204.
His on-screen former girlfriend, Rhea Ripley, also attended the wedding ceremony and shared a photo of them on her Instagram handle.
During his appearance on Insight With Chris Van Vliet, Mysterio addressed his wife’s feelings towards his storylines. Mysterio said:
She’s cool with it, suprisingly. She’s honestly been super cool. She’s my ride or die. We’ve been together since we were 14. So as long as I let her know, ‘Hey, this is what’s going to go down,’ she’s like ‘Alright, cool.’ She honestly never gives me hard time.

The WWE star further said after his intimate scenes with Rhea and Liv, he always texts her and lets her know everything is alright.
For Dominik, Marie is his rock, and the wrestler firmly believes she makes him a better person.
