Dominik Mysterio had a night to remember at WrestleMania 41, where he won the WWE Intercontinental Championship. But the excitement turned to worry when he was involved in a backstage accident that reportedly struck a fan.
On the second night of WrestleMania 41 at Allegiant Stadium, wrestler Dominik Mysterio competed in a big match for the Intercontinental Championship.
It was a Fatal Four-Way match, meaning four wrestlers, champion Bron Breakker, Mysterio, Finn Bálor, and Penta El Zero Miedo, fought at the same time.
The match was exciting, with Breakker showing his strength and Penta flying through the air. Bálor, who is in the same group as Mysterio, called The Judgment Day, nearly won after hitting Breakker with a big move.
But Mysterio surprised everyone by jumping on Bálor with a Frog Splash and pinning him to win the title.
The crowd went wild as Mysterio, nicknamed “Dirty Dom,” celebrated his first solo championship in the WWE’s main roster.
However, the celebration was short-lived, for it was overshadowed by a backstage accident involving a utility vehicle that reportedly struck a fan.

The newly crowned WWE Intercontinental Champion, Dominik Mysterio, indeed experienced a night of highs and lows at WrestleMania 41 held at Allegiant Stadium.
Later that night, after winning, Mysterio was riding in a small utility vehicle, possibly heading to join commentators Joe Tessitore, Big E, and Peter Rosenberg for post-show coverage, when sadly the vehicle accidentally struck a female fan who was attempting to take a photo with the new champion.
Following the incident, the news went viral online in no time. A video shared by a user named @elliiuudd showed the moment it happened, with the caption,

The footage showed the fan falling after the collision, prompting immediate concern from onlookers.
Meanwhile, it’s not clear yet if the woman was seriously hurt, but WWE President Nick Khan spoke with her after the incident. Whereas, no one knows if the driver of the vehicle worked for WWE or Allegiant Stadium.
