Kansas City Chiefs punt returner Xavier Worthy created a priceless moment for his mom, Nicky Jones, on Monday night football game on October 7, 2024, at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium.

After scoring a 3-yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter against the New Orleans Saints, a Chiefs wide receiver looked out for his mom at Arrowhead Stadium Stands to offer her the best birthday gift.

His mother was watching him from the front row in the end zone. As soon as Xavier located his mom, he just moved toward her and handed over a touchdown ball to honor her on her birthday.

Then, the mother-son duo hugged each other, and the crowd at the stadium cheered and clapped back for the sweet moment that Xavier created with his mother, which later went viral on social media.

On October 8, 2024, the Kansas City Chiefs’ Twitter page shared the clip, writing, “Don’t blink; you might miss it.”

Likewise, the sports anchor for ABC 30 action news, Alec Nolan, also took to Twitter to praise Xavier’s gestures and wrote,

Well, Nicky has always been a firm supporter of her son Xavier’s entire football journey.

Xavier Worthy’s mom, Nicky, is pretty proud of his achievements, as she once wrote, ‘My biggest flex is calling you MY SON!’

The 21-year-old former Texas Longhorns wide receiver Xavier Worthy started playing professional football after the Kansas City Chiefs selected him with the 28th overall pick in the 2024 NFL draft, but his hype in the field appears pretty spectacular.

With his outstanding playing strategy, Xavier has made himself visible among the masses as a footballer, making his mom, Nicky, proud of him. Nickly has often been spotted flaunting her son’s accomplishments on social media.

On December 31, 2024, the footballer momma Nicky shared her picture with her son on her Twitter handle, captioning it,

I love success. It’s easy to celebrate. But real life is full of challenges. I am most PROUD when I see how you handle adversity, the pressure, the nastiness, the hate. It brings out the worst in most, but you handle it all so well. My biggest flex is callin you MY SON!

Nicky also once wrote that being the mom of Xavier has been the greatest joy of her life, and she is absolutely thankful for it.

Thank you for representing yourself, family, & city the way you did these past 3 yrs. No off the field issues. Played every game, even when injured. Persevered thru bad times & stayed humble during good times. Being your mom is one of my greatest joys in life! So thankful!

Nicky’s social media is mostly filled with posts dedicated to her son, Xavier. Very occasionally, she shared pictures of her other children; however, it’s clear that Nicky felt worthy of being the mom of all her three children.

On May 8, 2022, Xavier’s momma took to Twitter to wish all the mothers of the world a happy Mother’s Day and wrote,

My 3. This will 4ever be my fav picture…I remember sitting across from them, thinking how grateful I was to be THEIR MoM. No matter how hard it got or gets, there’s nothing I wouldn’t do for them. I’ll go to war over these 3!

Nicky raised all her children, the oldest one, Xavier, and the other two, Ree and Onie, in California, and it appears like she is a single mom to all her children, at least her Twitter handle suggests, since there is no mention of Xavier’s father.
