Madison “Maddy” Croswell tragically passed away on September 13, 2025, in Lake Country, British Columbia, at the age of 13.

As of now, the exact cause of her passing has not been publicly disclosed. Reports suggest that her passing was sudden and heartbreaking.

Maddy Croswell Performed at a Senior Centre at Just 10 Years Old!

Though still in middle school, Maddy was known for her love of gymnastics and eagerness to help others.

Despite her young age, she had already become a role model for junior athletes in her club and school.

At just 10 years old, Maddy Croswell was invited by her coach, Peggy, to perform at a senior center.

Alongside another teammate, she prepared a routine to share with the elderly residents.

Maddy felt deeply honoured to be chosen and took great pride in using her talent.

Following the passing of Maddy Croswell, her mother expressed her sadness and said:

Maddy, my beautiful angel, forever 13. I wish I could hold you just one more time. Hear your voice just one more time. 💔 I have so many questions, so many what-ifs. Words fail me, but my love for you never will. You were so smart, so talented, so beautiful, and you made everyone laugh with your light. ⭐️ You had so much going for you. We had no idea of the pain you carried inside. Life without you feels unbearable. I am broken in ways I can’t explain. We are all shattered, broken, lost. But I know you are in heaven now, free from hurt, at peace and watching over us and I will carry you with me in everything I do. 🕊️Though you were taken far too soon, your love and spirit will always be with us. And I will always hold onto the last words you spoke to me “Goodnight mom, I love you!”❤️

Love you so much Maddy my beautiful baby girl. 🙏

Moreover, her loved ones created a tribute page titled In Loving Memory of Maddy Croswell.

On that page, her family, friends, coaches, and neighbors shared photos, videos, and heartfelt memories of her.

The page became a space filled with love, laughter, and stories that showed how much Maddy meant to everyone.

One of her coaches wrote:

I will forever miss coaching you and all the times you tested me to never drop you like I promised.

Another friend shared:

Maddy was the sweetest girl I’ve ever met. I’ll miss the countless training days either working our butts off or being goofy with our iPad selfies and Snapchat filters. I’ll miss the team sleepovers at the Glanville’s, staying up ’til who knows when chatting and giggling (I’m still unsure how you took over so much floor space in the movie room 😂). You completed our team and we all miss you endlessly.

Maddy Croswell is survived by her devoted parents, Chelsey Whittingham and Ben Croswell; her siblings, Baylee, Lexi, and Jacob; her grandparents and extended family.

Regarding the memorial service, there will be a celebration of Maddy’s life on Sunday, September 21, 2025, at 3:00 p.m. at Lake Country Alliance Church.

Our heartfelt condolences go out to Maddy Croswell’s family, friends, and well-wishers.

Rest in Peace, Beautiful Soul!
