Finan Doyle, an 18‑year‑old from Indianapolis, tragically lost his life in a motorcycle accident in Fountain County.
As per the report, Doyle’s bike collided with a Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck.
Despite the emergency responder arriving quickly, Doyle was pronounced dead at the scene due to the severity of the injuries.
The driver of the Silverado survived with non‑life‑threatening injuries and was treated by medical personnel.
Based on the official reports, the cause of the accident was Finan Doyle’s excessive speed and failure to stop at an intersection after evading police pursuit.
He was first observed traveling at more than 100 mph in a 55 mph zone, later sideswiped a patrol vehicle, and then ran a stop sign at Main and Perry Streets in Attica.
That failure to stop led directly to his motorcycle colliding with a Chevrolet Silverado, which caused the fatal crash.
