New York Giants wide receiver Malik Nabers attributes his flourishing NFL career to his mother, Tonya Nabers.

While Malik Nabers played college football for the LSU Tigers, he is currently a wide receiver for the New York Giants of the National Football League (NFL).

Before committing to Louisiana State University (LSU), Nabers played college football for Mississippi State University.

On May 10, 2024, he signed a $29.9 million four-year rookie contract with the Giants.

Moreover, he surpassed Mike Evans‘s record of 21 years and 73 days to become the youngest wide receiver in NFL history to record at least two touchdown catches in a game at the age of 21 years and 56 days.

Wider Receiver Malik Nabers’ Mother, Tonya Nabers, Specializes in Hospice Revenue!

Malik Nabers was born in Lafayette, Louisiana, on July 28, 2003. Although concrete details about his father remain ambiguous, Nabers has frequently mentioned his mother, Tonya Nabers.

His mother, Tonya Nabers, is also a working woman. She specializes in hospice revenue.

Similarly, she owns her mobile hair salon, MADE THE KUT, and works as a part-time cosmetologist.

According to her LinkedIn, Tonya is also seeking entry-level healthcare opportunities.

She has also highlighted her expertise in front desk and receptionist duties, maintaining medical records, managing operations, using Microsoft Office, typing, and customer retention.

Similarly, Naber has also shown his love for his mother by buying a home for her after the New York Giants drafted him at No. 6 overall.

At a press conference after the Giants’ rookie minicamp, he stated that providing for his mother was his top priority.

Tonya raised Nabers and his sister as a single mother. He has always acknowledged his mother, Tonya’s sacrifices and selflessness.

Furthermore, he credits his mother for shaping him into a self-assured guy.

His mother consistently stayed close to her son’s football journey, attending every match and encouraging him to be the best.

Tonya saw Nabers’ talent for athletics from a young age. However, she was unsure of his favorite sport because he excelled at all three sports-baseball, basketball, and football.

Likewise, she is unquestionably Nabers’ great supporter, claiming to be vigilant when observing her son play on the field.

Despite being a single mother, Tonya has never let her children feel their father’s absence.

She has been a source of strength for her children and, like any father, has provided both financial and emotional support for their endeavors.

He said, ‘Mama, I’m going to play in the NFL one day.’ And I said, ‘You going to do what it takes to get there? Because it’s not going to be easy…’ and he said, ‘Yes ma’am.

Alright! I’ll do whatever I can to support you. And now, we’re here.

It is unlikely that she didn’t confront problems and hurdles while raising her children, yet Tonya maintains a positive outlook and enthusiasm.

Her optimism and self-assurance have inspired Naber to set ambitions and strive for them.

Tonya was observant of her son’s leadership qualities. She never made Naber hold back and created a nurturing and safe environment where he could flourish.

I feel like I don’t see any other player because I’m a nervous parent so I’m watching his movement. I’m watching his body language, I can tell if he’s hurting… I just notice everything.
