While swimming at Lake Havasu, Dylan Norbert suffered a serious neck injury that left him paralyzed from the neck down on June 20.

Dylan Norbert is a student-athlete at Lee Williams High School in Kingman, Arizona.

He plays for the LWHS Varsity Football team and also takes part in the boys’ freshman basketball team.

Standing 5’10” and weighing 150 pounds, Dylan’s personal bests include a 40-yard dash time of 5.1 seconds, a 4.56-second shuttle run, and lifts of 145 lbs on bench press, 235 lbs on squat, and 165 lbs on clean.

Moreover, Dylan, 16, plays as a free safety (FS) and wide receiver (WR) on the football field, wearing jersey number 22.

He was rushed to a trauma center in Las Vegas, where he is now receiving urgent medical care and undergoing tests and treatment.

Community Support The Norbert Family With Fundraisers And Hope For Recovery Ahead

Doctors have now confirmed that Dylan’s paralysis is permanent.

His condition has deeply affected his family, who have not left his side since the accident.

With both parents, Joe and Amanda Norbert, unable to work during this time, the family is facing emotional and financial pressure.

From medical bills and travel costs to daily expenses like meals and lost income, the costs are quickly rising.

Dylan’s recovery will be long and uncertain, but his family is doing everything possible to stay strong for him.

To help support the Norbert/Cronk family during this difficult time, a special preorder of custom embroidered hats is now available.

Each hat is $20, with 50% of the proceeds going directly toward covering Dylan’s medical expenses, travel, and ongoing care.

Similarly, the Kingman community is coming together to support Amanda, a well-known Transaction Coordinator with UNITED Real Estate Group, and her family following a life-changing accident involving her son, Dylan Norbert.

Amanda has been a vital part of both the United and Keller Williams (KW) real estate teams.

To help ease the burden, a GoFundMe campaign has been launched to support the family with medical expenses, travel costs, and other essential needs.

Community members are encouraged to keep the family in their thoughts and prayers and, if possible, to contribute to the fundraiser as a tangible way to show their support.

Although the news is difficult to hear, Dylan and his family remain hopeful as they focus on the road ahead, including rehabilitation, healing, and adjusting to a new lifestyle.

Dylan has shown remarkable strength and bravery throughout this challenging time.

Despite everything, he keeps his sense of humor and positive spirit, bringing smiles and hope to those around him even during the hardest moments.

Stay strong, Dylan!
