Is Naomi Pregnant? WWE Star’s Absence Sparks Rumors

Naomi's WWE Silence Sparks Pregnancy Rumors Amid Injury Speculation

This article was last updated by on

Naomi, the dazzling two-time SmackDown Women’s Champion, is back in the headlines not for her high-flying moves or glowing charisma, but for something entirely different.

The 37-year-old WWE superstar, who is loved for her trailblazing career and spirited energy, has caused confusion among fans with unconfirmed rumors about a possible pregnancy.

A Shocking WWE Announcement

On August 11, 2025, WWE dropped a bombshell regarding Naomi, the current Women’s World Champion, who was pulled from a title defense against IYO SKY on Monday Night Raw because she’s “not medically cleared” to wrestle.

The news came just nine days after her big win at SummerSlam, where she defended her title in a triple-threat match against IYO SKY and Rhea Ripley.

WWE’s statement was short and vague, leaving out any details about what’s keeping her out of the ring.

This mystery has fans wondering: Is Naomi pregnant, or is it something else?

Whereas, Wrestling journalist Bryan Alvarez started the pot on his Wrestling Observer Live show, hinting that Naomi’s absence might be a big deal.

“There’s definitely a rumor going around in WWE about what’s going on with Naomi, It’s being talked about by people there, and if it’s true, she’s going to be out for a long, long time.”

Alvarez didn’t spill the beans but suggested that whatever’s happening could keep Naomi sidelined for a while.

He also pointed out how WWE handled the news on Raw.

A backstage part showed Stephanie Vaquer mentioning her own title shot against Naomi at Clash in Paris on August 31.

Alvarez found this odd, saying,

“Clash in Paris is three weeks away. If it was just a concussion, they’d say she’s not cleared and check her again next week. To assume she’s missing Clash in Paris already? That doesn’t sound good.”

His comments have fans thinking it’s more than a typical injury.

Are Pregnancy Rumors True?

While Alvarez didn’t mention pregnancy, social media is buzzing with speculation.

Some fans on X believe Naomi might be expecting, especially after she opened up about wanting kids.

Others aren’t so sure. One user, @thatY2Kglow, posted,

While some other fans mentioned Naomi’s past health struggles, like having only one ovary, saying it makes a surprise pregnancy less likely during her championship run. Without a word from Naomi or WWE, though, it’s all just talk for now.

Naomi, whose real name is Trinity Fatu, has been open about her personal life.

She married Jonathan Fatu (aka Jimmy Uso) on January 16, 2014, and is a stepmom to his two kids from a previous relationship.

In a touching April 2025 interview on The Nikki & Brie Show, Naomi shared her dream of starting a family.

“I always wanted kids young. I always wanted a lot. Your girl is getting up there. I’m 37. Time….I only have one ovary. Even if I wanted to continue wrestling longer, my biological clock, I can’t. We got a lot to figure out. I have to step away and take care of my health and myself. If we’re going to have kids, I have to start that process very soon.”

She mentioned exploring options like IVF or surrogacy, knowing it might mean stepping away from wrestling.

These comments have resurfaced, adding fuel to the pregnancy rumors.

Naomi’s Journey in WWE is Nothing Short of Amazing

With no wrestling background, the Florida native climbed the ranks with her athleticism and charm.

She’s a Money in the Bank winner, a two-time SmackDown Women’s Champion, and a history-maker as a Black woman in WWE.

Her 2025 title win at Evolution, cashing in her Money in the Bank contract, was a career highlight.

Fans and experts, like Bill Apter from Sportskeeda, praise her recent heel turn and rivalry with Jade Cargill, noting her merchandise is flying off shelves.

Whether she’s in the ring or not, Naomi’s a star.

Right now, WWE and Naomi are staying quiet about her condition, leaving fans guessing.

If the rumors are true, her silence could shake up her title reign and WWE’s plans for Clash in Paris, where Stephanie Vaquer is waiting for her shot.

Whether it’s an injury or a possible pregnancy, the WWE Universe is rooting for Naomi.

Fans are flooding social media with support, hoping for good news, whether that’s a speedy recovery or a joyful new chapter as a mom.
