Jack Williams, a middle-linebacker football player, passed away unexpectedly during the holiday season in December 2025.

His parents, Shannon and Mike Williams, are mourning the tragic loss, which came without warning.

Jack Williams will always be remembered as a man of energy and passion. He balanced teamwork on the field with a love for outdoor adventure.

His athletic drive found a home on the football field at a young age and continued playing football at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.

Moreover, he was a proud linebacker of the Lil’ Rebs Football organization, where he honed his skills and sportsmanship.

Jack’s interests stretched far beyond the gridiron. He found peace and excitement in the outdoors, with fishing and hunting being a favorite pastime. He also loved riding motorcycles.

The Lil Rebs are heartbroken to hear about #lilreb4life Jack Williams. Please keep his family and friends in your prayers.

Jack Williams’ Family Mourns the Tragic Loss

The Williams family’s holiday season now also holds the immense and heartbreaking loss of their beloved son, Jack. The memories of joy now collide with profound sadness.

It’s an unthinkable pain to lose a child, and to face it during a season of celebration makes the grief feel doubly heavy.

Jack passed away suddenly in December 2025, leaving his parents, Shannon Caylor and Mike Williams.

His family and close friends hold tightly to the light he carried, even in their sorrow.

He was a vibrant, kind, and young man who connected deeply with everyone he met. He never met a stranger, and his warmth touched countless lives.

We grieve together, we remember together, and we hold each other up when one of us cannot stand alone. Jack will always be one of our boys, and his life mattered deeply. May we surround the Williams family with the same love, strength, and compassion that have always defined this team, on and off the field.

Though Jack is gone, his spirit is felt everywhere by those who loved him.

He left the world far too soon, leaving behind a silence that will feel so loud to his immediate family and friends. He will be forever missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.

Rest In Peace, Jack Williams.

Got to spend the day with my precious family, Shannon Caylor Williams, Mike Williams, and Brenda Jane Caylor. We talked about Jack Williams and how special he was. We talked about both sides of the family and how our sweet Jack impacted so many people and how he never met a stranger, and we love Jack so much, and he will never be forgotten, and we love you so much, Jack, and not sure how to navigate this life without you. Praying for comfort.
