Aaron Nola and his brother Austin grew up playing baseball with each other.

While Aaron currently plays for the Philadelphia Phillies, his older brother Austin plays for the San Diego Padres.

It all began when Aaron was just nine years old and watched Austin compete in baseball tournaments, which sparked his interest in the sport.

From then on, Aaron worked tirelessly to develop his skills and ultimately realized his dream of becoming a professional player.

The Nola brothers’ shared love for baseball has led them both to successful sports careers.

Aaron Michael Nola is a professional baseball pitcher who currently plays for the Philadelphia Phillies in Major League Baseball (MLB).

He was born on June 4, 1993, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and developed baseball skills alongside his older brother, Austin.

Aaron spent three years playing varsity baseball for Catholic High School in Baton Rouge and played collegiate baseball at Louisiana State University (LSU).

During his time at LSU, Tiger Nola achieved recognition as the SEC Pitcher of the Year twice and won the National Pitcher of the Year Award in 2014.

In the 2014 MLB Draft, the Philadelphia Phillies selected Aaron as the seventh overall pick, and he has been playing for them ever since.

Aaron Nola and his older brother, Austin Nola, were raised alongside in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

Austin was born on December 28, 1989, making him four years older than Aaron.

Currently, he plays as a catcher for the San Diego Padres in Major League Baseball (MLB). 

Although the Colorado Rockies selected Nola in the 48th round of the 2008 MLB Draft out of high school, he declined their offer.

Instead, he played collegiate baseball for Louisiana State University (LSU).

After his junior year in 2011, the Toronto Blue Jays selected him in the MLB draft, but Austin decided to complete his college career.

In the 2012 MLB Draft, the Miami Marlins selected him in the fifth round, and he signed with them. 

After becoming a free agent following the 2018 season, Nola signed with the Seattle Mariners, where he made his MLB debut in June 2019.

The couple has been blessed with two lovely children – a son born in 2020 and a daughter born in 2022.
