Aiden McGeady has been married to his wife, Claire Healey, for 11 years.
McGeady and Claire had known each other since their high school days at St Ninian’s High School in Giffnock.
The McGeady couple are proud parents of their three children: one daughter, Kaia, and two sons, Cole and Jace.
Aiden John McGeady, born April 4, 1986, is a professional soccer player for Ary United, a second-tier Scottish Professional Football League team.
The St Ninian’s High School alum honed his skills at Busby Boys Club and started playing with Queen’s Park.
After several trials with different clubs in England, the winger joined Celtic and progressed through the academy, winning the Scottish Youth Cup in 2003.
Starting his senior career with Celtic in April 2004, he went on to play with Spartak Moscow in Russia.
Later, he played with Everton, Sunderland, and several second-tier teams before joining Ayr United in 2023.
Moreover, McGeady has also represented the Republic of Ireland at different levels, including the senior team from 2004 to 2017.

The professional soccer player, Aiden McGeady, married his high school friend, Claire Healey. From their marriage, they birthed three kids: one daughter and two sons.
Claire was born to her father and mother, Anne Healey. She worked as a pharmacist and was featured on the Irish Daily Mail’s front page in 2016.
They reportedly started dating during Aiden’s time at Celtic as Claire was with him during the 2010 season with the Russian soccer club FC Spartak Moscow.

Aiden recalls a furious encounter between O’Neill and Larsson while he worked at Dundee United as a kid.
McGeady wasn’t playing at that point but caught the two Celtic stars arguing while he was in the showers.
He recalls Larsson booting in the door before exchanging words with O’Neill.
The former Republic of Ireland international said, “I saw one with Henrik and Martin O’Neill – I was working at Dundee United at the game as a kid, and I was in the shower.”
He added, “Me and Midge [Michael Gardyne] were in the shower and halftime came and Henrik Larsson has kicked the door in and him and Martin O’Neill have started going for each other.”
Listening to them argue, McGeady was amazed as it was his first time seeing anything like that.
