Alec Martinez, the two-time Stanley Cup champ, is not only a proud son but a loveable husband. The NHL star is married & lives with his wife, Emily Brown, a marketing expert.
Now, the American-born ice hockey defenseman has yet another voice of cheers along with his parents & siblings.
Currently, Alec plays for the Vegas Golden Knights (2021- now) after signing a three-year $15.75 million contract on July 28, 2021.
Thanks to the deal, he is the fourth highest-earning player in the Knights for the 2023-24 season; the top-most paid in the team is Jack Eichel, with a salary of $10 million.
Previously, the Miami University alumnus played for the Los Angeles Kings from 2009 to 2020.
Martinez was the 95th overall pick of the Kings in the 2007 NHL Entry Draft. However, he would sign with the AHL team Manchester Monarchs to hone his skills before his major league debut.

The 38-year-old ice hockey star is no short of supporters- that includes his wife, Emily Brown, parents: Lynne & Frank Martinez, and a sister Maria.
Martinez kept most of the details about his relationship with his girlfriend (now wife), Emily, under wraps until they came up with a flashy wedding.
The Golden Knights player and Emily married on August 21, 2021, at Black Star Farms in Michigan.
While the bride walked down the aisle in a white trumpet wedding gown & a veil, the groom wore a navy blue tuxedo.
Later, in November of that year, Montage Media Films shared a Facebook video of the wedding moments that chronicled the nuptials as they exchanged vows along with narratives of their loved ones.
The matrimonial ceremony was then followed by a reception party with many of the close friends & relatives in attendance.
Alec and Emily are yet to share kids of their own.

A few months after Emily and Alec tied the knot, they settled in Summerlin, Nevada. They co-own a 4,619 square feet property there.
Having signed with the Vegas Golden Knights earlier in the summer, the NHL player loaded off a whopping $3.25 million in November 2021 in The Ridges, Summerlin.
The two-story house with five bedrooms & 4 & a half bathrooms was built & formerly owned by William Lyon Homes in 2018.
After a $200K upgrade, the property’s ownership went to tech entrepreneur Lorenzo Sartini who paid $1.64 million in March 2018 before the ice hockey star got the keys.

Born on September 25, 1988, Emily Brown is a native of Calabasas, California. She is one of five children born to Christine Ludwig Brown (mother) & Mr. Brown.
Emily grew up with her four brothers; one of them is Dan Brown, who has a wife named Danni Greig.
A graduate of the University of California, LA (UCLA), she formerly worked in the marketing department of JPMorgan Chase.
Then, Emily assumed the position of analyst in private banking and wealth management at Merrill Lynch.
Now, she has an association with a foundation serving as the Director of Operations.
