Jose Alexander Cora, popular as Alex Cora, is a former infielder and current baseball manager who manages the Boston Red Sox of Major League Baseball (MLB). He was inducted into the University of Miami Sports Hall of Fame in 2006.
Alex previously spent 14 seasons in MLB, playing with the Boston Red Sox, Cleveland Indians, Los Angeles Dodgers, New York Mets, Washington Nationals, and Texas Rangers.

He is the fifth manager in MLB history who won the World Series in his debut season and the first Puerto Rican to lead a World Series-winning team.
