Considered a lethal striker, American soccer star Alex Morgan gets the attention of fans, whether she is playing or not. It’s understandable why they want to learn everything about her, even her religion.

A former co-captain of the United States women’s soccer team, Morgan has demonstrated her potential as a player on the field. Aside from that, she is a doting mother & a loveable wife.

She and her soccer player husband Servando Carrasco share a daughter together.

Currently, Alex Morgan plays for the San Diego Wave FC, having played for teams like Orlando Pride, Tottenham Hotspur & Portland Thorns FC earlier.

Morgan finished college at the University of California in Berkeley and played soccer there for the California Golden Bears team. After college, the Western New York Flash team picked her as the top player in the 2011 WPS Draft.

The soccer player has tried out other things she’s interested in too. She does many jobs, like being a writer, model, and sports ambassador.

Morgan wrote many books about soccer, being a Leader, and having good friends. She wrote these books for kids who are in middle school.

She has written books like Switching Goals, Fans In The Stand, Win Or Lose, Choosing Sides, and others.

Besides, Morgan has also taken part in helping sports bring people together in the past. She went to Tanzania as a member of a group representing America’s sports.

Alex Morgan has yet to share her beliefs about religion with the public. She may believe in a religion.

Morgan was born and raised in San Dimas, California. She holds American nationality; however, her ethnicity is mixed, as she is of Welsh, German, and English descent.

She strongly believes in treating everyone equally and supporting causes like fairness for all genders, LGBTQ+ rights, and racial equality.

Morgan uses her job as an athlete to talk about important things and make the world a better place, even if she doesn’t agree with everything she says. She speaks up for good things and tries to help make the world better for all people.

Early Life & Parents

Alex Morgan was born to Michael and Pamela Morgan on July 2, 1989, in San Dimas, California. She has two older sisters, Jeni and Jeri. The Morgan siblings grew up in a place near Diamond Bar.

Alex Morgan’s family loved sports, and she grew up in that environment. Her mom used to play softball, and her dad played football.

Morgan started playing soccer when she was 14 years old. She was part of the American Youth Soccer Organization (AYSO) and later joined Cypress Elite at 14.

Morgan went to Diamond Bar High School and was chosen three times as one of the best players in her league. The NSCAA gave her the title of All-American for playing well in soccer.

Morgan was known for being fast and good at dashing, so she was on the Olympic Development Program (ODP) team.

Morgan was only 17 when she was selected to join the under-20 women’s soccer team for the United States.

After finishing high school, Morgan attended the University of California, Berkeley. She joined the soccer team for the California Golden Bears at her University and played for them.
